The Acupuncture Center of Acadiana was founded in 1997 by John Hebert, a licensed & board certified practitioner of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. A graduate of Samra University of Oriental Medicine in Los Angeles, John also acquired extensive post-graduate experience during a two year clinical internship in China. He is a certified Diplomat of Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine and has dedicated his energy to the foundation of the Acupuncture Association of Louisiana. John’s approach to treatment is one of integration: while rooted in the classics, he embraces innovative techniques for a modern world.
Wise Body Pilates was founded in 1997 and is owned by Dennis Wise & Alyce Morgan Wise. Alyce is nationally certified as a Pilates trainer & instructor by PhysicalMind Institute and certified as a personal trainer by the American Council of Exercise. Wise Body is one of the first and most highly regarded Pilates operations in Louisiana. Over the past decade Alyce has been active as an instructor, certifying trainers throughout the state. Since its inception the studio has offered expert guidance in both group and individual sessions. Besides leading mat classes and individual training, Dennis Wise also offers Qi Gong classes and Qi Nei Zang sessions.
